Pelham YMCA pool closed due to flooding - ABC 33/40 - Birmingham News, Weather, Sports

Flooding early Tuesday morning caused issues at the YMCA in Pelham.

The indoor portion of The Y was closed for an extended period, but reopened Tuesday afternoon at 1:00pm.

However, both the indoor and outdoor pools are still closed after water from the Cahaba River spilled into them.

Crews from The Y have been working to clean debris from around the pool area,  

The pools are not expected to re-open until at least Friday.
