Anniston city councilman Ben Little has been arrested and charged with violation the Manager-Council Act. It bans city councilors from giving orders to city employees.
Anniston police allege councilman Little asked a city employee for a videotape utility vehicles being stolen from the Street Division's headquarters.
Councilman Little bonded out of the Calhoun County Jail Monday afternoon.
Little was supposed to appear in court Monday for hearing in a lawsuit filed against him by the Fraternal Order of Police. The hearing was continued.
