The Alabama football team will open its preseason camp on August 7.
The defending national champions will take to the practice fields in full pads.
The complete practice schedule for the Crimson Tide has not been released.
Alabama will open its 2012 season against Michigan at Cowboys Stadium on Sept. 1.
