BIRMINGHAM - AL -
The former owner of a Birmingham strip club admits owing nearly $450,000 in unpaid federal income taxes.
U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance said 56-year-old Ahmad Rahiminejad of Helena pleaded guilty to one count of filing a false income tax return. The money he owes is on taxes from 2006 through 2009.
Rahiminejad owned businesses including Mike's Crossroads strip club, and The Gold Club.
Prosecutors said he under-reported his income by a half-million dollars just in 2006. Rahiminejad faces up to three years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
