Odd invite for Katherine Jackson - ABC 33/40 - Birmingham News, Weather, Sports

Katherine Jackson, the mother of late singer Michael Jackson, has gotten a rather odd invitation.   Conrad Murray, the doctor convicted in the late rock star's death, has invited her to visit him in jail to answer any questions she might have.  

The invitation was extended via a statement to CNN.   A representative for Jackson says it is doubtful she would accept the offer.  Murray is serving time in jail after being convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
