According to tweets from his teammates, Alabama defensive tackle Jesse Williams bench pressed 600 pounds during summer workouts.

The weight is almost two-times the weight of Williams, who is 6-4, 320-pounds.

Several Crimson Tide players took to Twitter to express their awe at the massive amount of weight.

Long snapper Carson Tinker tweeted on Thursday, "I saw @ThaMonstar dominate 600 lbs on the bench this morning... Incredible."

Tide center Barrett Jones tweeted, "I have to block that..."

In 2011, Williams started every game for Alabama and recorded 24 tackles.
