Mountain Brook Police are searching for a fourth suspect that was involved in a robbery of a person at Vino Restaurant in English Village Wednesday evening. The suspects fled in what was described as a white vehicle. The suspects fled the vehicle, on foot, after being involved in a wreck not far from the restaurant.
Officers took three of the subjects into custody. A wooded area of 21st Ave South near the Red Mountain Expressway was searched for a fourth subject. Birmingham Police, Homewood Police, and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office assisted Mountain Brook with the search.
It was later determined that a woman's purse had been stolen from a table at the restaurant. Detectives have a possible lead on the identity of the fourth subject.
