Governor Robert Bentley Wednesday helped to unveil an environmentally-friendly company called Zero RPM, which creates an idle mitigation system to power vehicles without activating the engine.

The product is currently being tested in four law enforcement agencies across the southeast. The Hoover Police Department and the Cullman Police Department have two devices.

Due to the company's growth, 54 jobs will be created.

The company's president, Lance Self, said the product has the potential to save millions of dollars.
