According to several reports, Bengals' rookie cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick has suffered a leg injury.
The Bengals have reportedly examined the former Alabama star and expect him to be out for at least a month.
The club does not plan on making a formal announcement about the injury until it conducts training camp physicals on Thursday.
Kirkpatrick tweeted about his injury on Wednesday:
"I'm sorry about my injury and im going to try my best to get back and help the team to get to a Super Bowl and once again I'm sorry #WhoDey."
Early indications are the injury is a small broken bone in Kirkpatrick's leg.
