Tuscaloosa Police arrest robbery suspect

Tuscaloosa, AL -

The Tuscaloosa Police have arrested Venessa Jones Mujahed, of Tuscaloosa, for the robbery of Buddy's Food Mart in the 300 block of 15^th Street.

Tuscaloosa Police responded to Buddy's Food Mart at approximately 12:15AM Tuesday morning. The cashier stated the suspect had a black handgun in her hand.and demanded money from the register. The suspect left the store without receiving any money.

Mujahed was charged with one count of Robbery 1st Degree and is being held at the Tuscaloosa County Jail with a $60,000 bond.

The Mujahed is also being questioned in another robbery and investigators are seeking warrants in that case.
