Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Deputies, along with the U.S. Marshal Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested two fugitives after receiving a tip of their whereabouts. Deputies arrived to a residence in the 14000 Block of Highway 171 and arrested 32-year-old Michael Anthony Garrison and 26-year-old Jennifer Michelle Smith.

Both suspects had outstanding warrants for Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance with a $10,000 bond, a Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with a $3,000 bond, and Unlawful Manufacturing Controlled Substance with a $25,000 bond. Garrison and Smith are currently in the Tuscaloosa County Jail.
