The
rebirth of the Admiral Twin Drive-In, will be completed this coming
Sunday.
The co-owner of the outdoor theater says they will have the Grand Reopening
on July 15th starting at 6:45pm.
There
will be an official ribbon cutting, and an appearance by the rock
group Admiral Twin, before the evening movies.
Blake Smith says it has been a long and difficult 2-year struggle but
he's very glad his drive-in is back in business.
They
had a soft opening about a month ago and since they have been rewarded, with a
lot of enthusiastic customers.
Smith says he hopes it will continue and he believes there is a place for the drive-ins, in the future.
He says it's inexpensive family entertainment that should always have an appeal.
The
theater is located on 7355 East Easton.
It's
just west of Memorial and just north of I-244.
