Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office captures one of Most Wanted

Tuscaloosa, AL -

Early Monday afternoon, Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office Investigators, Deputies and TPD Officers assigned to the US Marshal's Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested Meredith Hollingsworth, who is one of the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office Most Wanted, and a man named Jeremy Carter in the Food World parking lot on Skyland Boulevard after Methamphetamine and Drug paraphernalia were found in their possession.

Hollingsworth, who was wanted in Tuscaloosa County for Possession of Precursor Chemicals and Unlawful Manufacture, was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Carter who was wanted on outstanding warrants in Bibb County was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Hollingsworth is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail without bond.
