MONTGOMERY - AL -

Federal prosecutors are recommending that Country Crossing casino developer Ronnie Gilley spend 11 years in prison.  Gilley pleaded guilty to a role in Alabama's bingo bribery scheme.

Prosecutors also want Gilley's lobbyist, Jarrod Massey, to go to prison for a smiliar period.

Prosecutors filed their request Monday, July 9th.  The recommendations are shorter than federal guidelines allow- but prosecutors say the two men deserve shorter sentences because they pleaded guilty,  and helped provide evidence.

Both men are scheduled for sentencing on July 16th.
