Michael CampMichael Camp, of Boaz, was arrested
by Gadsden police on Saturday July 8 for indecent exposure after several women
reported a male subject masturbating in the open.
Officers responded to the area of
the bird sanctuary after receiving reports of a man pulling his pants down and
exposing his genitals to women and children.
One victim reported Camp asked her if she would watch him masturbate.
When officers spotted Camp, he
ran into the woods. Several officers
pursued Camp, who skirted the backwater along 4th Street and flushed
him out near Logan's Roadhouse Restaurant on Rainbow Drive. Officers lost Camp temporarily, but located
him a short time later hiding the restroom at Chic-fil-A.
Camp has been charged with the
misdemeanors of Indecent Exposure, Disorderly Conduct and Fleeing &
Eluding.
