Auburn picked up a commitment on Monday from quarterback Jason Smith.
The 6'1", 172-pound dual-threat quarterback from Mobile, Ala., has verbally committed to play for the Tigers in 2013.
Scout.com lists Smith as a four-star prospect.
While he will provide insurance at the quarterback position, he is likely to see the field at wide receiver or cornerback due to his versatility.
Smith is the second quarterback of Auburn's 2013 class, joining quarterback Jeremy Johnson.
