UAB and Red Cross blood drive - ABC 33/40 - Birmingham News, Weather, Sports

It's summer and one common problem is blood donations always dip at this time of year. University of Alabama at Birmingham is trying to help. It is holding a blood drive through Saturday at the North Pavilion. All blood types are needed.

Donors are required to bring a photo ID. The process takes about 45 minutes. Free parking is available in the North Pavilion parking deck. If you can't make it there, another drive at UAB Highlands on 11th ave. south will be Wednesday and Thursday.
