If you are looking for a job, there are two opportunities this week you may want to check out.
On Tuesday, Boatright Companies will host a job fair in Clanton. The hours are 9a.m. to 4p.m. at the Clanton Recreation Center.
The conglomerate is looking to hire fork lift operators, wheel loaders and general laborers. Company CEO Shane Boatright says anyone with manufacturing experience should apply. "In any given plant industry, if it's a production industry, if you've had experience no matter what you were producing, the line for it is all the same," he said.
Wednesday, a job fair will run from 9a.m. to 4p.m. at the Talladega Career Center. M-Tek will make parts for the Honda Odyssey and Pilot and the Acura MBX at an industrial park near Talladega.
The plant should be up and running by October. The company expects to have 200 workers within 3 years.
