
Bob Dylan introduced "Blowin' in the Wind" once by saying, "this here ain't no protest song or anything like that, cause I don't write no protest songs."
Of course, his audience respectfully disagreed. Dylan claims to have written "Blowin' in the Wind" in just ten minutes.
On this day in 1962, he walked into a studio and recorded the song that would make him a star.
