Happy 75th birthday to SPAM.  Since 1937, there have been almost 8 billion cans SPAM sold.  1937 was the same year that the Golden Gate Bridge opened.  Comedian Bill COsby was born that year.

Did you know that 100 million pounds of SPAM were shipped abroad during WWII.  There are 10 varieties of SPAM available.  SPAM has its own museum, it's in Austin, Minnesota.

SPAM has now introduced its first "spokecharacter," Sir-Can-A-Lot.
