Anniston man recovers after being hit by a car

In Anniston, an elderly man is recovering after being hit by car. Police say that Edward Earl Jones, III hit the 81-year-old man on purpose after an argument. It happened at Mata's Pizza and Grinders. Police say that the victim got into argument with Jones because he didn't like the way Jones parked his car. Jones jumped into his car and ran-into him. Jones tells police that the man lunged at his car and started hitting it. Jones is charged with first degree assault
