Higgs Boson

Researchers say they're on verge of discovering the new 'god' particle.

Scientists may be on the verge of making one of the most important physics discoveries ever. Researchers at the US Department of Energy Fermilab in Illinois say they have moved closer to proving the existence of the Higgs Boson.

It's also known as the "god particle".

Finding that would help explain the origin of mass and increase understanding of how much of the universe works.

For more than a decade, scientists have used the gigantic underground large hadron collider in Europe to conduct experiments that could prove the "god particle" exists.

Tomorrow, we'll learn what scientists using the LHC  have discovered.

Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes

More details are emerging about TomKat's break up. Katie Holmes reportedly believes she was being followed by the Church of Scientology and that members have been tailing her.

The church denies the claims, saying it is not following or conducting surveillance on her.

People Magazine reports the actress was seen moving out of the couple's New York City apartment with their daughter while Cruise was filming a movie in Iceland.

Sasha & Malia Obama

The President and First Lady fiercely protect the private lives of their daughters, Sasha and Malia. Yet, the Obama girls ages 13 and eleven, increasingly are making public appearances.

Starring in remarks by their father, appearing in a campaign video celebrating Father's Day, and now in a campaign ad that's airing in seven battleground states.

Political analysts believe the girls help the President personalize his image and his thinking on a range of public policy issues.
