The heat is on Jefferson County to find extra cash..
A judge has ruled that the county cannot use revenue from the sewer system to pay for non- operating expenses. The county had argued in court that the money may be used for new projects, and for attorney fees.
Commission President, David Carrington responded to the judge's opinion. He says the sewer system has the resources it needs to provide service.
