A Patriotic Bicycle Parade and a Fishing Rodeo will be held Saturday, June 30, 9 a.m. until noon in Avondale Park. Fishing is open for ages 15-years-old and younger.

There will be awards for the largest fish caught, for the best decorated ride: bicycle, tricycle, scooter or wagon and for the greatest distance for a watermelon seed spit. Drawings will be held every half-hour for valuable door prizes given by local businesses.

Bait worms will be available for less than $2 a container, but any live or organic bait will be allowed.
