Gay Pride Oreo sparks Facebook debate

Kraft has created quite a stir with a new look for its Oreo cookie.  The company posted a "gay pride" Oreo on the cookie's Facebook page earlier this week.  Kraft does not plan to sell the rainbow-stuffed Oreo in stores.

The picture instantly brought support and criticism.  At the time of this writing, there were close to 48,000 comments on both sides of the issue.  You can check the comments here.  Some users even pledged to boycott the cookie because of the post.

Kraft says the image is part of a "series of daily ads reflecting current events in a fun way using images of Oreo cookies and milk."  June is Gay Pride Month.
