BIRMINGHAM - AL -
Birmingham police say they've arrested a man for robbery, attempted murder, and impersonating a police officer.
42 year old Bobby Honeycutt is being held right now in the Jefferson County Jail. His bonds total $315,000.
Police say he tried to force a woman to pull over as she was driving on Interstate 20. Investigators say he rammed the woman's vehicle- but she was able to get to a convenience store on Eastlake Boulevard. That's when Honeycutt apparently pulled a gun and said he was a police officer.
The victim and her 2-year- old son got inside the store to take cover.
