Update:  The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has confirmed that a body found Friday morning in the 2500 block of Atwood-Ferry Road is that of James B. Cuthbertson, the Tennessee man who has been missing since June 23.

 

The vehicle of James Cuthbertson, the man missing from Germantown, Tennessee since June 23, has been recovered according to Sgt. Johnnie Williams of the Birmingham Police Department.  The black Toyota Highlander was found in the 2500 block of Atwood Ferry Road.  Mr. Cuthbertson was not with the vehicle.  Birmingham Police believe he may still be in the area. 

Mr. Cuthbertson has a known medical history requiring regular medication administration, which he does not have with him.  Mr. Cuthbertson was last seen on Friday evening, June 22, at his residence.  He was reported missing by family members at approximately 9 a.m. Saturday, June 23.

Police have been tracking credit card usage and credit card records indicate usage at a McDonalds (#2090) in Birmingham on Saturday, June 23.  This is the last location where we can verify any activity.
