Some Birmingham residents want to start a new neighborhood watch program.
It comes after a copper theft at yet another church. Four air conditioning units were dismantled Saturday night by thieves who were stealing copper. It happened at St. Luke's Missionary Baptist Church on Wintergreen Avenue.
A church member says that the homes of three church members were also broken into. A petition is circulating, to form a neighborhood watch in the area.
