WEISS LAKE - AL -
The search continues for a Northwest Georgia man who was last seen on Weiss Lake on Sunday.
Alabama Marine Police say the 27-year-old man from Rome, GA was with his wife, children and father on a pontoon boat when they stopped for fuel near a Cedar Bluff marina.
About a half dozen boats have been searching for the man since Sunday evening.
Marine Police say the man's children had jumped out of the boat, into the water to cool off. Wind pushed the boat away from the children. Their dad jumped into the water in an attempt to bring them back to the boat. He went under and never resurfaced.
