Two teenagers are in critical condition and another two are recovering from a Pelham car accident. Pelham police are still investigating the accident that happened Friday at 9:48 pm on Pelham Parkway in front of Cahaba Family Medicine.
Police say a Nissan Maxima was going north when the driver lost control of the car. It crossed the median into the southbound lanes where it rolled over and hit a Honda Civic.
Rescue crews pulled a 17 year old passenger out of the Nissan and airlifted him to UAB by Lifesaver. The three other teens in the car were also taken to the hospital by ambulance. The driver of the Honda was driven by a family member to Shelby Baptist Medical Center to be checked out.
Police have not released any names.
