Leroy Kendall Banks has been arrested
by Tuscaloosa Police Juvenile Investigators and charged with Rape 1st Degree. These charges come from an incident that the
victim stated happened on June 16, 2012.
The victim's mother learned of the incident three days later and
notified the police.
Banks had an outstanding
warrant for Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree. He was arrested for that on June 20, 2012 and
then later charged with Rape 1st Degree. The victim in this case was 15 years old at
the time that the incident occurred and Banks was 30 years of age.
Banks is being held at the Tuscaloosa
County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
