A museum of sort to honor Championship coaches and teams at the University of Alabama will bear one of the coach's name.
Trustees approved the $2.8 million dollar project on Friday.
The new Champions Plaza will be called the 'Sarah Patterson - Champions Plaza'.
Patterson lead the Tide's Gymnastics team to his 6th National Title this year.
The plaza will be built adjacent to the baseball field near the Mal Moore athletic facility on campus.
Patterson called the honor "Humbling".
There is no timeline for the Plaza. It's being funded through the Crimson Tide Foundation.
