Hazmat situation in East Lake area shuts down streets

BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Birmingham Police tells ABC 33/40 a white smoke with an odd odor was reported at 7828 1st Avenue South in East Lake just before 8 a.m. Hazmat and the Emergency Management Agency has been called to the area. Birmingham Police have shut down several streets in and around the area.
