Foursquare is getting a makeover. The app best is known for letting smartphone users tell others about the restaurants and other places they are at the moment. However, now it can be used to help people find nearby places to go.
Last week the app got a sprucing up, so users can find nearby spots without having to search for them. The app will recommend bars, restaurants or shops based on what places you frequent or what your friends like. You can check it out by going to
