Lauryn Hill Might Be Facing Jail Time - ABC 33/40 - Birmingham News, Weather, Sports

Lauryn Hill is in hot water over taxes. 
The singer and actress has been charged with failing to file 3 years of income tax returns with the IRS.

The District Attorney of New Jersey says Hill failed to file from 2005-2007, during which time she made more than 1.6 million dollars.

she faces up to three years in prison, and a $300,000 fine.  
Hill is scheduled to appear in court on June 29th.
