Bo Jackson knew what he wanted, and he went for it on this day in 1986.
Jackson, the 1985 Heisman Trophy winner out of Auburn, got drafted on June 7, 1986 by the Kansas City Royals to play major league baseball. The fact that Bo chose baseball over football surprised fans and the football league too.
Remember, though, "Bo Knows." Bo went back the next year and signed on with the Los Angeles Raiders too.
