A guard from Northeastern University is transferring to the University of Tulsa to play for head coach Danny Manning as a graduate student.
Kauri Black, who received his degree from Northeastern in May, still has one year of basketball eligibility remaining. Wednesday, Manning announced Black has signed scholarship papers and will use that year of eligibility to help the Golden Hurricane in the upcoming season.
Black will be eligible to play immediately.
At Northeastern, Black averaged 4.4 points and 3.2 rebounds per game for the Huskies, who played in the Colonial Athletic Association.
