Here's no big surprise.
Oklahoma City forward Serge Ibaka has been named to the NBA's All-Defensive First Team, the league announced Wednesday.
Ibaka has been a dominating force for the Thunder this season, leading the league in blocked shots with a franchise record 3-point-65 rejections per game -- the highest per-game average for any NBA player in more than a decade.
He also set the franchise record with 11 blocked shots in a game February 19th against Denver, also becoming the first player in team history to record a triple double that included blocked shots, scoring 14 points and pulling down 15 rebounds to boot.
Despite his feats, Ibaka finished a close second in the voting for NBA Defensive Player of the Year, with Tyson Chandler earning the honor. Chandler was named to the NBA's All-Defensive Second Team.
Ibaka received the second-most votes on the first team. Only LeBron James had more.
