Crime Stoppers May 26: Police need your help to solve a 2012 murder

Police hope your tips will help solve a 2012 homicide. Johnathan Duboise was killed, and police need to know who's responsible. They're calling on you for help. 

Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper has this week's unsolved homicide case. 

"I'm Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper. We need your help to find the killer of Johnathan Duboise.

He was shot and killed April 30th. We need to know details of his death and who's responsible.

Here's what we know. That Monday, police were dispatched to the 4300 block of Park Avenue Southwest. When they arrived, they found Duboise lying on his stomach on the edge of the road. He had been shot. Duboise died.

Investigators have few clues as to what happened, and it's why we need your help. If you can remember any details about what happened or who's responsible, we need to hear from  you.

Dial 205-254-7777. We'll give you a private code number, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you can use that number to claim a cash reward.

The cash reward in this case is offered to the first person whose tip leads to an arrest.  Even if you receive the cash reward, you still will not have to give your name -- only the code number.
