Sex offenders living in wrong places

ETOWAH COUNTY - AL -

Etowah County's two day long search for sex offenders is complete. Offenders are required to register with local enforcement

Operation Adam-12 verified the whereabouts of 178 sex offenders across the county. It turns out 13% are not in compliance with residency laws for sex offenders.

According to the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, typically, 20 to 25% are non compliant.
