A pair of Los Angeles Lakers teammates have been fined by the NBA, including one for an on-court temper tantrum in LA's game one loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the league announced Wednesday.
Forward Devin Ebanks was fined 25-thousand dollars for what the league says were his actions "prior to and following his ejection" from Monday night's 119-90 loss to the Thunder.
Ebanks was ejected in the fourth quarter after receiving two quick technical fouls. The first came when he was involved in an altercation with Oklahoma City's Royal Ivey. The second came after he had words for a referee.
Following his ejection, Ebanks walked over to the Lakers bench and violently struck a chair before storming off shirtless.
Center Andrew Bynum was fined 15-thousand dollars for failing to make himself available to the media following Tuesday's practice.
The Thunder and Lakers play Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
