Kevin Durant broke out of a slump Thursday night, scoring 31 points to lead Oklahoma City to a 95-79 win over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 3 of their NBA first round playoff series.
The Thunder never trailed, scoring the game's first six points, leading by double digits eight minutes into the game and by as many as 26 in the fourth quarter before Dallas scored the game's final ten points.
Durant, who shot just 34-percent in the first two games in Oklahoma City, shot 11-of-15 Thursday night, including 4-of-6 from long range.
Russell Westbrook added 20 points while Serge Ibaka, James Harden and Derek Fisher each scored ten.
Dallas, the defending NBA champions, were limited to just 34-percent shooting in Game 3. Dirk Nowitzki was 6-of-15 and ended his night with 17 points to lead the Mavs, who face elimination when they host Game 4 on Saturday night.
