It's ok to give your newborn a pacifier, when they're breastfeeding.
A new study indicates that pacifier use among newborns does not interfere with breast-feeding.
What researchers did find is that limiting use of pacifiers -- also known as binkies may actually increase newborns consumption of formula during the birth hospitalization.
Oregon Health & Science University researchers analyzed feeding data on nearly 2,250 infants born between June 2010 and August 2011.
