Crime Stoppers April 28: Tips needed in 2002 murder

Police hope your tips will help solve a 2002 homicide. Kent Andrews was killed, and police need to know who's responsible. They're calling on you for help. 

Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper has this week's unsolved homicide case. 

"I'm Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper. We need your help to find the killer of Kent Andrews. He was shot and killed Saturday, November 16, 2002. 

Andrews was killed at home on 68th Street South in Birmingham. We need to know who killed him.

A witness related to Andrews said he was in a bedroom when he heard an unknown male voice. Then he heard a gunshot. The witness found Andrews lying on the living room floor. 
He died a few minutes later. 

Investigators believe Andrews knew his murderer and let him come inside the residence.
