The future of the Arkansas football program looks to be in the hands of Tulsa native Garrick McGee. Several reports say he will be the next football coach of the Razorbacks.
FootballScoop.com story says he'll be announced no later than Monday. Other reports sight sources that say within the next couple of days.
Of course McGee was the Offensive Coordinator at Arkansas for four years before becoming the head coach at UAB after last season.
He knows the system and would fit in with the current coaching staff.
Earlier reports Wednesday said former Tennessee head coach Phillip Fulmer had conversations with Arkansas. Then Wednesday night talk surfaced that said Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll was approached about the head coaching coach at Arkansas, but he said he wasn't interested.
The Hogs have their spring game Saturday at 2:00pm at Razorbacks Stadium.
