
ELMHURST, Ill. - Oral Roberts' Jack Whitt is named The Summit League's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week for his performances March 20-26.
Whitt claims his sixth career Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honor and first of the season after a first-place finish in the pole vault at the UTEP Springtime Meet.
The junior cleared a league-best 18'0" (5.50m), which also ties for the second-best mark it nation.
Whitt's honor sets a new league record for career Athlete of the Week awards, which he previously held at five.
