Dr. Andrew DeWitt is a Board Certified General Surgeon that specializes in Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He has been practicing Bariatric Surgery for over 13 years and has
performed over 4000 bariatric procedures. Dr. DeWitt also has extensive experience in Minimally Invasive General Surgery on the bariatric patient. Dr. DeWitt is certified by the
American College of Surgery as a Center of Excellence for Bariatrics as well as a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
Dr. DeWitt is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Carraway Methodist Medical Center.
He practiced at Carraway for 10 years. Dr. DeWitt was a clinical Instructor at Carraway for the General Surgery Resident Program where he trained Residents to perform
Bariatric and General Surgery. Dr. DeWitt is now practicing Bariatric and General Surgery at Baptist Medical Center Princeton. Dr. DeWitt brought his practice to Baptist
Medical Center Princeton to help establish it as a Center of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery. He also works with the General Surgery Residency Program training Residents at Princeton.
