STILLWATER, Okla. -- OSU's Frank Anderson earned his 300th win as the head coach of Oklahoma State baseball Friday.
The Cowboys beat Bowling Green 7-2 in the first of three games at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium in Stillwater.
It was a stellar outing for OSU starting pitcher Andrew Haney, who tossed 7.1 innings, giving just 1 run and racked up 12 strikeouts.
Offensively, the Cowboys did a majority of their damage in the second inning, tallying 4 runs.
Carrying a 4-1 lead into the bottom of the third, Zach Fish added another run with a solo home run, Fish's second of the year.
The Cowboys improve to 3-3 while keeping Bowling Green winless at 0-3.
The second of three games is scheduled to begin Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
