Commissioner Jimmie Stephens could soon lose his chief of staff, David Hooks, to another county office.
County Manager Tony Petelos wants to hire Hooks as the director of capital structure and investment. Petelos believes Hooks has the experience to handle the county's more than four billion dollar debt.
Hooks would earn 130 thousand dollars a year.
