More money for Railroad Park

BIRMINGHAM - AL -

More money could be coming for plans at Birmingham's Railroad Park.

Council members voted to move $237,000 over to the park.  That money includes $120,000, leftover after funding an alarm system for the fire department.

The city expects to have a surplus of $250,000 from the East Pinson Valley Center project that can be used on Railroad Park once that center is finished.
